Stack dampers are basically Multilouver Dampers. The Stack damper can be used for to minimize heat loss from the boiler and also to prevent the ingress of rain water in the chimney.

The stack isolating damper can be of the butterfly type, twin louvre type , multilouvre type  or twing flap design construction and can incorporate an automatic pressure relieving system to prevent over pressure and can control the damage to the turbine or boiler.

The Size range is from 1000 mm to 10000 mm with the variety of material of constructions ranging from Mild Steel, SS 304, SS316, Hardox and Special Alloys depending on the application.
